AZUZ: We begin in India, where severe flooding has forced a million people to leave their homes. These are devastating floods. They've claimed at least 270 lives, and officials say their focus is now mainly on relief. The military is helping out with aid efforts. They've rescued more than 1,300 people so far, and they're helping get food to those who have survived.

This week have a moon festival, in Chinese traditional culture we celebrate this festival is to eat moon cake or to eat pomelo. But now we have a BBQ, I am not sure why to translate eat BBQ. But I think the meaning is equal, let members of family can reunion.

This year my family canceled the BBQ because the typhoon is coming. We decide to eat luxuriant seafood cuisine. One of the cuisine is steam crabs. But I did not like to eat the steam crabs because I have to deal with the hard shell. It’s really a trouble thing, because I have to wash my hands again and again for clean the crab smell.

First Up: Attack in Afghanistan

AZUZ: First up, Pentagon officials are investigating a battle that took place over the weekend in Afghanistan. At least eight American troops, as well as two members of the Afghan National Security Force, were killed on Saturday when their base came under attack from hundreds of militants. According to one U.S. military official, the battle lasted around 12 hours, with militants firing down on the base. U.S. and Afghan forces were eventually able to push back the assault. The violence marked the largest number of Americans killed in combat in a single day in Afghanistan since July of last year. It all comes as President Obama is reviewing the U.S. military's approach to the war in Afghanistan. He believes that strategy needs to be considered before more resources are sent to the region.

  Today, I buy two jigsaw puzzles. But they are not the general jigsaw puzzles, when I finished those jigsaw puzzles, they looks like a ball. One pattern on the jigsaw is baseball, and another is ghost face. I think the ghost face jigsaw’s pattern is pretty funny. The two jigsaws are very easy, I just spent 15 minutes to finish them. This is my second time to play jigsaw puzzle, if I have other free time, I want to challenge more difficult one..

Another thing is, my SIM card has some problem, so I change a new one. My old card has been canceled and new card will open the account after two days. That means I can not use cell phone until Wednesday.
